With 5 Oscar® nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actress (Kate Winslet), The Reader has serious chances to win a trophy tonight. To our dismay, Lena is not among the nominees, but we naturally hope that she shows up on the red carpet.

Our Forum member Deniz was so lucky to attend another special screening of The Reader on Monday in L.A. She was able to take a few photos and recorded almost half an hour of the Q&A between Stephen Farber and Lena that followed the screening.  Dec 8, 2008 - "The Reader" Special Screening in L.A.

Last night Lena attended a special screening of the The Reader in Los Angeles. A few pictures of this event can be found, as usual, in the Public Appearances Gallery.

Another screening of Lena's new movie will take place in L.A. tonight, at 7 p.m. Lena will be on hand for a Q & A after the screening. For more information and tickets, visit this page.

Picture galore! Beautiful and bedazzling as always, Lena and the The Reader cast consisting of Kate Winslet, Ralph Fiennes and David Kross attended last night's movie premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.
